Mission Statement

To work with Whalley Ave. neighbors, businesses and institutions, ConnDOT, and the City of New Haven to re-envision and re-design Whalley Ave. as a roadway that:

• Calms automobile traffic;
• Prioritizes access to, and the safety and convenience of, pedestrians, transit users, and bicyclists, especially children and senior citizens;
• Encourages community economic development; and
• Creates safe, active, and vibrant places for residents and visitors alike.
